Introducing UnityOne™UnityOne™ is the charitable arm of the wakeupnow™ vision and has been endowed with a forty-nine percent ownership in wakeupnow. One of the three governing principals of wakeupnow is, “Look to the world around you and then make it a better place“. This founding principal spurred the need to create a charitable foundation that would wholly form the organization’s vision. The UnityOne name was created to embody our belief that all Life is indeed connected and that the best way to find true happiness is to recognize and serve that connectedness.At UnityOne, our mission is to seek out opportunities to positively enhance the experience of Life, by addressing the physical demands of living and, in so doing, provide individuals and groups of individuals an ever increasing opportunity to view themselves, as well as the Life before them, from a lightened view point.In order to do this effectively, we have identified certain mission parameters that will serve to define our path. One of these is our dedication to the wise use of charitable resources. As a result, we are committed to expend a minimum of ninety percent of all charitable resources to directly benefit those targeted within the cause, keeping administration costs at a bare minimum.A few of the opportunities that we have currently identified as initial investitures of our time and resources are:
Building homes for families in need through sponsorship with Habitat for Humanity
Support wakeupnow’s vision of debt elimination through application of assistance where needed
The foundation of social service groups that can join together with those in need, both within their own ranks and within their own environmental boundaries
It is our hope to inspire our membership to join us, in body and in vision in the cause of freedom and “...make this a better Place“!
